• A spec database. Detailed specifications for each model and its variants, in metric or imperial units.
• Scores and rankings. A 0–100 score per model, built from its specs and ranked against similar models. Rankings for every spec, from top speed to charging time.
• Real-world range. Range figures reported by owners, checked for plausibility, next to the manufacturer's claim.
• Prices across shops. Current prices in your region and currency, price history and alerts when a model drops below your budget.
• Tools. A finder that matches models to your needs, head-to-head comparisons, guides and research.

Scores are calculated from data, with the same formula for every model. Brands and shops can't pay for a better score, a higher ranking or a place in our picks.

We keep the site running through affiliate links and, where shown, advertising. When you buy through some shop links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Whether a shop pays a commission has no effect on scores, rankings or which prices we show. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

• Write a review of a vehicle you own. Owner ratings are one of the seven score dimensions.
• Report your real-world range from the vehicle page. A few reports per model are enough to replace the claimed range in its score.
• Send a correction when a spec or price looks wrong, through the contact form.
