Privacy policy

You can use the database, rankings, comparisons and finder without signing in. Your choices for region, currency, units (metric or imperial), color theme and the models in your comparison bar are stored in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data resets them.

We count how often head-to-head comparison pages are viewed, as a total per pair, to show popular comparisons. This count isn't linked to you.

Accounts use sign-in with Discord. When you sign in, Discord shares your name, email address and profile picture with us, and we store them with your account. A session cookie keeps you signed in. We never see your Discord password.

• Reviews: your rating and text, shown publicly with your name.
• Real-world range reports: the range you got, your weight band, riding mode and optional notes. Reports are shown on the vehicle page with your name and combined into public averages.
• Vehicles you own, your wishlist and favorites.
• Price alerts: the model and target price you choose. When a price drops to your target we email you at the address from your account, through our email provider.

When you use the contact form, we store your name, email, topic and message so we can answer, and may forward it to our own inbox by email. We don't add you to any mailing list.

Links to shops, deals and accessories pass through a short redirect on our site (addresses starting with /go/) that sends you on to the shop, in some cases with an affiliate code so we may earn a commission. Once you are on the shop's site, its own privacy policy and cookies apply. See our affiliate disclosure.

When advertising is enabled on the site, ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. A banner asks for your consent before these cookies are used to personalise ads; without it, Google may only show non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Learn how Google uses this data and how to control it in Google's policy and in Google's ad settings.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosts, it processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver pages and keep the service secure. Images are stored with a cloud storage provider.

• You can edit or delete your reviews and range reports, and change your wishlist, favorites and price alerts, from the site.
• To have your account and everything linked to it deleted, or to get a copy of your data, send a request through the contact form with the email address you sign in with.
• You can clear the preferences stored in your browser at any time through your browser settings.

We'll update this page when the site starts collecting something new.
